Visit Valkyr Lodge, a remote yet comfortable ski hut located in a subrange of the iconic Selkirk Mountains. Perched at 2250m, the lodge provides access to immense terrain. Alpine terrain and treed glades, bowls, and couloirs make it a great destination in all conditions.

Get First Tracks

With almost 10,000 acres of skiable terrain spread across 3 drainages and 8 unique ski zones, we will have plenty of room to make first tracks, on every run.

Wild Skiing, Comfortable Lodge

Valkyr Lodge at Naumulten Mountain is a step above the rest when it comes to amenities. Indoor hot water plumbing, toilets and a sauna house as well as wireless internet access, relax after a long day of ski touring and enjoy catered meals by our fabulous backcountry chef.

Itinerary:

March 14: Fly into Kelowna, BC or Spokane, WA for best access. Or come up early to ski some of the Powder Highway’s famed ski areas! Lodging in Nakusp, BC (not included); visit the Nakusp Hot Springs for a pre-trip soak.

March 15: Drive 30 min to the staging area in Burton, BC. Fly into the lodge.

March 15-21: Ski touring! Wake up every morning to a fresh pot of coffee and a hearty breakfast, ski til your legs give out, and come back to enjoy the sauna and another delicious meal before doing it all over again.

March 22: Fly out day. Wake up early, do whatever chores and cleaning up that needs being done, and head out for a final ski lap before loading onto the heli and heading out.
