ROCK

In climbing you are always faced with new problems in which you must perform using intuitive movements, and then later analyze them to figure out why they work, and then learn from them.
— Wolfgang Gullich

Rock climbing is the art of moving fluidly, efficiently and confidently over stone. From small boulders to towering faces that take days to ascend, there are many options to provide challenge and adventure. Let me guide you up some of the classic climbs of the area, whether in the Eastern Sierra, Red Rock Canyon, or a custom destination of your choosing.

RoCK CLIMBING IN THE SIERRA NEVADA

Near the soaring walls of Yosemite Valley exists a Mecca for rock climbers, who flock from around the world to practice their craft on the well-known destinations of the Buttermilks, Owens River Gorge and Pine Creek Canyon.

The real gems are hidden deeper within the range, with classics like the East Buttress of Mount Whitney and the South Face of Charlotte Dome providing excellent climbing in a wilderness setting.

Trips are booked through a valid USFS/NPS commercial permit holder.
